THE WOMAN BEHIND THE PAINTINGS

Meet Sally.

Sally Antonia Mellersh was an artist all her life.

Born in Hertfordshire in 1930, she won a scholarship to Liverpool Art School in the 1950s. She painted from an early age and travelled far and wide, particularly in India and Vietnam.

Her family has created this little corner of the internet to share the paintings she left behind — and to tell more of her story along the way.
