HER STORY, SO FAR

Always an artist.

Sally Antonia Mellersh was born in Hertfordshire in 1930. Her father, H. E. L. Mellersh, was an author.

Painting was part of Sally's life from an early age, and it remained so throughout her life. In the 1950s, she was awarded a scholarship to Liverpool Art School.

She also travelled widely, with India and Vietnam among the places she spent time exploring.

The paintings collected here are part of the considerable body of work she left behind. They are a way to share her creativity, and to keep her story alive.

“An artist. A traveller. A life in colour.”

This story is still being gathered. More memories, photographs and moments from Sally's life will be added by her family.
